This is the agreement between you, the Client, and me, Emilee Garfield, owner of Live A New Life Story® Coaching, located at 1 N Calle Cesar Chavez #110, Santa Barbara, CA 93103.
By signing below, you agree to the terms outlined here, and we are officially partnered in this work together.
1. What You Are Signing Up For:
The Coaching
I am providing 1:1 coaching services through Live A New Life Story® Coaching, which includes private Zoom sessions, guided reflection prompts, and support between sessions as outlined in the package you have selected.
Your Investment
Your investment for this coaching package is the amount we agreed upon at enrollment. Access to coaching begins once your payment, or your first installment if you are on a payment plan, has been received.
Your Commitment
You agree to show up for our scheduled sessions, complete the reflection prompts to the best of your ability, and bring your honest effort to this work. Real transformation takes real participation, and I am committed to showing up fully for you in return.
2. Payment and Refunds:
Payment
By signing this agreement, you commit to paying the full investment for the coaching package you selected, whether paid in full or in installments. If you are on a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments on time.
No Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you are taking full responsibility for your own participation and results, and you agree that you will not request a refund for any reason.
3. What This Work Is And Is Not:
No Guarantees
This is coaching, not therapy, medical care, or financial advice. I am not a licensed therapist, medical doctor, or financial advisor. I cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome from our work together. Your results depend on your own effort, willingness, and follow through, and every person's journey looks different. Any testimonials or stories shared on my website or in our work are examples, not promises of your own results.
Your Wellbeing
If at any point during our work together you believe you need clinical or medical support, I encourage you to seek the appropriate professional care alongside or in place of coaching.
4. Confidentiality and Privacy:
What Stays Between Us
What you share with me in our sessions stays between us. I will not disclose the content of our conversations to anyone without your written permission, except as required by law.
Your Confidentiality To Me
In return, any materials I share with you, including coaching prompts, frameworks, recordings, login access, or written content, are for your personal use only. You agree not to share, copy, distribute, teach from, or repurpose these materials with anyone else.
5. Sharing Your Story:
From time to time, I may share testimonials, quotes, or stories from clients to help other women who are considering this work. By signing this agreement, you give me permission to share any testimonials, social media posts, comments, or images you publicly share about your experience with my coaching.
If you share something privately with me that you would like me to reference publicly, I will always ask for your permission first.
You agree that anything you share publicly about your experience will be truthful and accurate.
6. Intellectual Property:
All materials connected to Live A New Life Story® Coaching, including the New Life Story® framework, the ROADMAP framework, coaching prompts, written content, recordings, and any related intellectual property, are owned by me or by my licensors. By signing this agreement, you are receiving permission to use these materials for your own personal coaching journey only.
You agree not to teach, repurpose, sell, or otherwise distribute any of this material as your own.
7. The Fine Print:
This Agreement Is Personal
This agreement is between you and me. You cannot transfer or assign your spot in this coaching to another person.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I will not be liable for any damages, losses, or negligence arising from your participation in this coaching, even if I have been made aware of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold me harmless from any claims, actions, liabilities, damages, costs, or attorney fees that arise out of or in connection with your participation in this coaching.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of California, with venue exclusively in Santa Barbara County.
Attorney Fees
If any dispute or legal action arises out of this agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees as part of the court's award.
Entire Agreement
This agreement is the complete understanding between you and me regarding your participation in Live A New Life Story® Coaching. It replaces any previous conversations, proposals, or understandings, whether spoken or written.
Acknowledgment
By purchasing any coaching program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this agreement and that you agree to all of its terms, including those related to payment, the no refund policy, confidentiality, and intellectual property.
